Renewed Reviews also cares about NYU students. We collect, refurbish, and redistribute graduate and professional school test preparation materials (e.g., MCAT, LSAT, GRE, and other admissions exams), as well as facilitate a textbook lending and exchange program. Each year, millions of test prep and course textbooks go unused or are discarded despite their continued academic value. These resources should not sit idle or be thrown away, but instead be shared and recirculated to support students facing high educational costs. Through free distribution and lending, Renewed Reviews works to reduce financial barriers, promote sustainability, and ensure that essential academic materials remain accessible to all NYU students.
Renewed Reviews is a student-run initiative that collects, refurbishes, and redistributes test prep books—such as AP, SAT, and ACT materials—to support students and reduce waste. Most donations are distributed to libraries across Long Island and New York City, and students can also request specific books via email.
Our next initiative is an MCAT book drive in partnership with the NYU Health Sciences Library, where we are looking to help NYU students in need by expanding access to essential pre-med resources.
